The former smithy of Hephaestus and the birthplace of the Cyclops, Etna with his ever steaming top meets the landscape of old lava in the vent and orchards, broken on the slopes.
Lake Como is remarkable primarily for its unusual shape in the form of an inverted Y formed by the three ego sleeve: Colico in the North and Como and Lecco in the South. Length of the reservoir is 47 km, maximum width — 4 km; it's sandwiched between granite and limestone mountains, whose height ranges from 600 m in the South to 2.5 km in the North. Another interesting fact: the lake is considered one of the deepest in Europe — ego reaches a depth of 410 meters.
It lands on this country's mountain peaks consist mainly of colored stone dolomite and limestone.
"Monti Sibillini" is a completely new approach to the creation of the national Park.
As conceived by the initiators,in this place must be good for everyone from permanent residents to tourists. Because the Park is mountainous, it is divided into four slope — historical, magical, flourishing and sacred.
